Why Do Kittens Knead?

Cat kneading, also known as kneading the dough or making biscuits, is instinctive and it starts when they’re kittens. Kittens will knead their mother’s breasts to stimulate the release of milk. Some adult cats will continue kneading when they’re feeling relaxed, loved and content. If your cat is kneading, it probably means you’re a good cat parent!
