How to Help People with Pets in Ukraine

It’s absolutely horrifying to think about what is happening to people as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.  The list of hardships and horror stories is endless, and I doubt writing a blog post for my website can even begin to help.  But as the owner of PeopleLovingAnimals.com, I felt it necessary to at least try – in the form of spreading the word about how to help people with pets in Ukraine.

Please Donate

There are many groups and organizations who are working hard to help.  Perhaps the best way we can contribute is to donate to these causes.  Let’s help to provide money to pay for their efforts!  Here is a list of articles, posts and websites where you can find and choose organizations you’d like to donate to.

Other Ways to Help

Another way to help is to spread the word about pet owners in Ukraine who are struggling.  Please share this post on social media and with your friends, families and coworkers who love animals.  You might also share my recent article (includes video) called, Disaster Preparation for Your Pets.  Also, here’s a printable pet disaster kit checklist from CDC.gov to help people evacuating with their pets.
