How to Be Pack Leader for Your Puppy
Using Doggy Dan’s 5 Golden Rules enables you to show your puppy that you are the pack leader. Being pack leader to your puppy is truly the most kind, loving thing you’ll ever do for your puppy.
Most dogs are followers, not leaders. In the wild, there’s only one dog in any pack who is the pack leader, and the others follow. So, chances are, your puppy is NOT a leader, but would prefer to be a follower.
For most dogs, feeling like they have to be in charge is extremely stressful and results in all kinds of bad dog behaviors. If you teach your puppy early on that YOU are the pack leader, it’ll save you both a ton of grief for years to come.
It will also create a meaningful, loving bond with your puppy and will most certainly make training your puppy much easier.
Here’s a video of Doggy Dan talking specifically about his 5 Golden Rules and the importance of being pack leader to your dog:
Doggy Dan’s 5 Golden Rules
All dogs have a “pack leadership” mentality built into their DNA. It’s important to puppies to know early on the pack leader is in the pack they’re living in. Puppies will naturally follow, respect and obey the pack leader.
So how do you get your puppy to view YOU as the pack leader?
